Mercedes-Benz A25 AMG coming soon with 335HP

The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to develop an AMG version of the new A-Class, which will be known as the A25 AMG.

According to Khabarkhodro,

The new model which will compete with the RS3 will actually get more power than the Audi model, and it’s expected to come with 335 horsepower. According to the guys at autocar.co.uk, the AMG division will develop the new model with the “help” of its High Performance Engine offshoot (HPE) which is based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire, and the vehicle will eventually make its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

Our source is saying that the Mercedes-Benz A25 AMG will be powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is generate a total output of 335 horsepower. Power will be sent to an all-wheel drive system but there’s no word yet on the mode’s transmission. The heavily reworked engine will eventually make its way onto other Mercedes-Benz models, like the CLC and the CLC Shooting Brake, which will also be known as the CLC25 AMG and the CLC25 Shooting Brake AMG, scheduled to be launch next year.

Sadly we don’t have any more details on the upcoming Mercedes-Benz A25 AMG, but the model will make its debut in autumn, at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, when the German automaker is expected to release more info on it.
