According to Khabar Khodro, two days testing of Sandero was hold in Tehran-Abyane road and Sandero (B90), the newest product of Pars Khodro Company was successful in performance and technical tests.
According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, in group test of Sandero, which was done by communication division of Pars Khodro with presence of more than 20 automotive journalists, six Sandero vehicles in two types were tested for performance and technical in Tehran-Abyane road in a destination about 600 kilometers.
The event was hold in Thursday, 5thAzar from Pars Khodro headquarter in 9th kilometer of Karaj special road to historic Abyane village. Reporters have reached to the village after passing about 300 kilometers of highway and mountain roads and came back in Friday morning. In this way, 4 automatic Sandero and 2 manual Sandero vehicles were evaluated.
Sandero, which is based on same platform of Tondar 90, is essentially the hatch version of this model. It is recently unveiled and would enter Iran market soon.
This is an economic hatch back for youth buyers with five-speed manual and four-speed automatic gearboxes priced from 43 million to 49 million toman.
Although it is based on X90 platform but in first glance is distinctive with other products of this family. The vehicle is sportier than Tondar 90. It is expected to change the hatch market in Iran.
Although Sandero is a hatch back but don’t expect low interior space for it as enough space is considered inside the vehicle in order to make a good cabin for 5 occupants.
Sandero has 4020 mm of length and a wheelbase of 2588 mm, which are more than Peugeot 206 and MVM315. It also has a high roof at the rear, which is good for taller passengers.
Power for Sandero comes from a 1.6 liter 16 valve engine, which is known with K4M code and is used in other vehicles based on X90 platform. This euro 4 engine produces 105 hp of power and 140 nm of torque.
Its fuel consumption is 6.7 L/100km in manual version and 8.3 L/100km in automatic version.
